MULTIPLE PACKS
Dispensing multiple packs or multiple repeats of prescription medication
- As pharmacists we must always comply explicitly with your doctors prescribed directions this includes the quantity of the prescription goods to be supplied. Therefore the only time we can supply an increased quantity of a prescribed medicine is if the doctor prescribes that quantity for you.
AUTHORITY PRESCRIPTION
- Some PBS medications are restricted and require prior approval from Medicare before a doctor is able to prescribe them on the PBS. This prior approval to prescribe grants the doctor the Authority to prescribe the desired medicine and have it funded under the PBS.
Authority to prescribe an Authority medicine is granted for specific indications and/or for certain patient circumstances. Authority may be obtained by telephone to Medicare Australia (known as "phone approval") or in writing from an authorised delegate of the Minister for Health.
Prescriptions must be written on an Authority Prescription Form, and the approval number must be noted on the prescription. Pharmacists cannot dispense the item as a pharmaceutical benefit unless it has been approved by Medicare Australia (indicated by the presence of the approval number).
Some drugs may have Authority Required (Streamlined) status which does not require an explicit approval from Medicare, instead the doctor can use the Authority code found in the published Schedule for a given drug/indication.
But still pharmacists cannot dispense the item as a pharmaceutical benefit unless it has the necessary Authority code.

Great base + top coat
I use this under every manicure and it does a phenomenal job as a base under other polishes. On its own it does have the tendency to chip but with something on top it works really well. It's a lovely shiny top coat as well and definitely makes a difference with preserving my mani!

No stains, doesn't budge
I love this so much! Normally my polish is totally messed up after one day, but when I use the SH Double Duty as a base, it lasts solidly all week (with a mid-week touch up). Also prevents the colour from staining my nails and my nails feel nice and strong. I hope they never stop making it.

Works best as a base coat
As a top coat I've found that it works alright, but when comparing it to SH's polish especially formulated as a top coat the results aren't as good. As a base coat however, I've found the formula is great; it dries quickly and the brush is wide.

Don't use this
I have used this product off and on for years. Finally worked out this is reason my long natural nails keep breaking low on the bed and causing so much damage. It really just makes your nails flex too much - takes too long to dry. Short nails - go for it. Long nails - skip it. BTW - your nails will still stain.

It is not worth the money honestly I it doesn't do nothing more than a cover gel. Actually maybe worse because the next day I used it the colour of my nail came off,so how exactly does it work????? I do not know

Double duty base +top coat
Bought this to see if it would help strengthen my nails, I don't like colour on fingernails, I'd previously bought sally Hansen I think it was a strengthening one, found that peeled by 2nd day so threw it away and thought I'd try this as it was maybe more designed to last on nails day 2 and this is chipping/peeling , afraid I won't waste money on sally Hansen product again
