Dispensing multiple packs or multiple repeats of prescription medication
- As pharmacists we must always comply explicitly with your doctors prescribed directions this includes the quantity of the prescription goods to be supplied. Therefore the only time we can supply an increased quantity of a prescribed medicine is if the doctor prescribes that quantity for you.
AUTHORITY PRESCRIPTION
- Some PBS medications are restricted and require prior approval from Medicare before a doctor is able to prescribe them on the PBS. This prior approval to prescribe grants the doctor the Authority to prescribe the desired medicine and have it funded under the PBS.
Authority to prescribe an Authority medicine is granted for specific indications and/or for certain patient circumstances. Authority may be obtained by telephone to Medicare Australia (known as "phone approval") or in writing from an authorised delegate of the Minister for Health.
Prescriptions must be written on an Authority Prescription Form, and the approval number must be noted on the prescription. Pharmacists cannot dispense the item as a pharmaceutical benefit unless it has been approved by Medicare Australia (indicated by the presence of the approval number).
Some drugs may have Authority Required (Streamlined) status which does not require an explicit approval from Medicare, instead the doctor can use the Authority code found in the published Schedule for a given drug/indication.
But still pharmacists cannot dispense the item as a pharmaceutical benefit unless it has the necessary Authority code.

The only thing that has ever worked for my skin.
I have been using this product for years and I honestly can't recommend it enough. I have had strong acne (also severe hormonal acne) and extremely sensitive skin since I was in high school (I am now mid twenties) and have tried countless washes, lotions, toners, creams, you name it. I had heard good things about Cetaphil before so when I saw they had an acne range, I knew I had to give it a go. It's one of the best life decisions I've ever made!!!!! Nothing else works for my skin as much as this. I can't thank you enough!!! Also using the acne prone oil control moisturiser with this is a must.

My husband has a lot of acne and I saw this on sale so decided to buy it for him. It’s been a game changer for him. He use this daily and unlike other face washes this doesn’t strip his natural oils and make his face super dry yet maintains a healthy amount of moisture on his skin. Using this and a few other facial products managed to to get his acne problem under control. This removes all the dirt and extra oil from his face without making his skin super dry. Fantastic for sensitive skin
I’ve been using cetaphil cleansing foam for the las few years from recommendation by my dermatologist after I had severe reactions with chemical peels a couple years ago. I was skeptical because the price was so affordable! Shouldn’t good skincare cost the world!
Well apparently not! There is a very mild scent - hardly noticeable. It does exactly what it says it does. Suited for acne prone skin which I’ve dealt with for many years until now. My skin is clear and if a pimple does show its face it’s small and quickly diminishes away.
I’m too scared to try anything else now! This is my go to and why not when it does what it’s meant at an afforadable price. Thank you

Finally - Something that works
I started out using the Foam Wash daily and within about 2 weeks I was seeing results.
It isn't too harsh on my skin, it doesn't leave my skin too dry however I follow this with Moisturizer as alone it can be drying.
It has combated my acne prone skin + my oily skin.
I have now reduced to using the Foam wash to once a week now and my skin is clear!

My Favourite Fash Wash
I have tried many different brands for face washes, and struggled to find one that would combat my oiliness and help stop those hormonal breakouts! My skin is very very sensitive, and I have combination skin which goes from extremely dry to extremely oily. This face wash has been the only one that has helped stop my facial issues; I now have clear bright skin with little to no pigmentation (I have tanned mixed-race complexion). I love how this face wash is in a foam form it feels very light on the skin and doesn't burn or itch. I believe this face wash works most successfully teamed with the other products - such as the moisturizer in particular.

great cleanser for acne / oily skin
I love foam cleansers. The Cetaphil Acne foam wash is one of the best I have tried for oily / acne prone skin. It has a pleasant fragrance. It removes all the impurities while not drying up my skin. I am in my mid 30s and find this works the best in preventing acne. A bottle goes a long way too, lasting about three to four months. I will buy this again for sure!

My summer facial cleanser
My reactive skin hasn't been breaking out recently and this cleanser did not cause any breakouts. It helped control oiliness compared to other facial cleansers I've used, but on really hot summer days, you'd need more products to control the oil slick. The best thing about it, in my opinion, is that it did not cause dryness. I've noticed other cleansers that claim to be oil-controlling or for acne-prone skin would cause my skin to be more oily and acne-prone because of rebound oiliness caused by over-drying cleansers. I usually know straight away if it's an over-drying harsh cleanser if lit makes my skin red and taut after washing. Cetaphil Oil-Control Foam Wash keeps my skin supple whilst controlling oil. I'll definitely recommend and repurchase this product next summer, although for winter I usually use a richer cleanser.

great as a makeup remover
I have written about this product before but did not realise it is an excellent makeup remover. I find it works really well overall with medium makeup and especially good on the eyes. I did not have to rub too hard to remove my mascara, eye liner and brow pencil. I now use it whenever I have makeup on. For this, I will definitely repurchase

Great product
I have been using the oily skin gel from Cetaphil and am happy with its performance but wanted to give the foam a try, i grabbed in at 40% off so it worked out quite inexpensive and quite a good size.
The shape of the bottle is great, its quite thin so fits on the shower shelf well without being bulky or taking up to much room. The pump dispenser is also quite handy, it dispenses a decent amount per pump and is easy to use (i haven't had any trouble with the pump)
The product itself is a light foam, i didn't notice to much of a scent especially nothing overpowering or enough to cause irritation. The foam glides on easily and works into the skin to cleanse deeply, leaving your skin feeling refreshed and clean.
Yes the foam is drying as are most targeted acne foams/cleansers but nothing excessive, i just use a good moisturiser/ night cream afterwards and have no lasting dryness at all.
