Dispensing multiple packs or multiple repeats of prescription medication
- As pharmacists we must always comply explicitly with your doctors prescribed directions this includes the quantity of the prescription goods to be supplied. Therefore the only time we can supply an increased quantity of a prescribed medicine is if the doctor prescribes that quantity for you.
AUTHORITY PRESCRIPTION
- Some PBS medications are restricted and require prior approval from Medicare before a doctor is able to prescribe them on the PBS. This prior approval to prescribe grants the doctor the Authority to prescribe the desired medicine and have it funded under the PBS.
Authority to prescribe an Authority medicine is granted for specific indications and/or for certain patient circumstances. Authority may be obtained by telephone to Medicare Australia (known as "phone approval") or in writing from an authorised delegate of the Minister for Health.
Prescriptions must be written on an Authority Prescription Form, and the approval number must be noted on the prescription. Pharmacists cannot dispense the item as a pharmaceutical benefit unless it has been approved by Medicare Australia (indicated by the presence of the approval number).
Some drugs may have Authority Required (Streamlined) status which does not require an explicit approval from Medicare, instead the doctor can use the Authority code found in the published Schedule for a given drug/indication.
But still pharmacists cannot dispense the item as a pharmaceutical benefit unless it has the necessary Authority code.

Warnings
Corrosive. Avoid contact with eyes. Avoid contact with skin except as per instructions. Incorrect use could result in severe burns and may harm skin and eyes. Protect eyes during use. Do not mix with hot water before application. Irritation or allergic reaction may occur with some people, even after prior use without adverse effect. Therefore, test before each use by applying product to a small part of the area where hair is to be removed. Follow directions and wait 24 hours. If skin appears normal, proceed with full application. Do not use on irritated, sunburned, inflamed, or broken skin. If irritation occurs during use, remove the product and rinse area with cold water. If irritation persists, consult your physician. Product can be used on arms, underarms, legs and bikini area. Do not use on face, around eyes, in nose, in ears, on breast nipples, perianal or vaginal/genital areas. Product may cause surfaces to become slippery. Avoid product contact with other personal/bath items. Clean immediately in case of accidental contact with the cream. Contains thioglycolate. Contains alkali. Follow the instructions. FIRST AID INFORMATION
For australia only first aid for advice contact the poisons information centre (australia 131 126) or a doctor at once. If swallowed, do not induce vomiting. If in eyes hold eyelids apart and flush the eye continuously with running water. Continue flushing until advised to stop by a poisons information centre or a doctor, or for at least 15 minutes.
Ingredients
Aqua, urea, mineral oil, potassium thioglycolate, calcium hydroxide, cetearyl alcohol, ceteareth-20, lanolin, sodium hydroxide, silica, propylene glycol, Lavandula angustifoua (lavender) flower extract, tocopherol, fragrance.

Directions
1. PATCH TEST. Before each use always do a patch test. Apply product to a small area where hair is to be removed. Follow directions and wait 24 hours. If skin appears normal, proceed with full application. 2. Apply Cream Outside of Shower: Skin must be dry before application. Remove plug from pump and turn counterclockwise to unlock. Dispense cream with pump facing away from you and apply an even layer to cover hair. DO NOT RUB IN. Wait at least 1 minute before showering. 3. Shower: Step into the shower and follow your usual routine. For optimum product performance, keep cream away from direct stream of water. Make sure the cream stays on your skin for at least an additional 2 minutes while in the shower. DO NOT EXCEED 10 MINUTES of total application time. 4. Remove/Rinse: Total hair removal depends on hair thickness. Use a washcloth or sponge to remove the cream in a small area first. If the hair comes off easily, remove the rest of the cream by massaging in a circular motion. If the hair does not come off, leave the cream on longer without exceeding 10 minutes of total application time. Once the cream and hair have been removed, RINSE SKIN THOROUGHLY UNDER THE SHOWER. DO NOT RUB. Rinse washcloth or sponge. Wipe dispenser clean and close with plug when not in use.

Brilliant product, not sure why I haven't used this instead of shaving for all those years!! Part of my preshower routine while I'm waiting for the shower to reach temperature and sorted out my towels and everything, it's time to shower it off. Takes a bit of wiping away with a mitt or a flannel, but it's effortless
