MULTIPLE PACKS
Dispensing multiple packs or multiple repeats of prescription medication
- As pharmacists we must always comply explicitly with your doctors prescribed directions this includes the quantity of the prescription goods to be supplied. Therefore the only time we can supply an increased quantity of a prescribed medicine is if the doctor prescribes that quantity for you.
AUTHORITY PRESCRIPTION
- Some PBS medications are restricted and require prior approval from Medicare before a doctor is able to prescribe them on the PBS. This prior approval to prescribe grants the doctor the Authority to prescribe the desired medicine and have it funded under the PBS.
Authority to prescribe an Authority medicine is granted for specific indications and/or for certain patient circumstances. Authority may be obtained by telephone to Medicare Australia (known as "phone approval") or in writing from an authorised delegate of the Minister for Health.
Prescriptions must be written on an Authority Prescription Form, and the approval number must be noted on the prescription. Pharmacists cannot dispense the item as a pharmaceutical benefit unless it has been approved by Medicare Australia (indicated by the presence of the approval number).
Some drugs may have Authority Required (Streamlined) status which does not require an explicit approval from Medicare, instead the doctor can use the Authority code found in the published Schedule for a given drug/indication.
But still pharmacists cannot dispense the item as a pharmaceutical benefit unless it has the necessary Authority code.

Directions
Apply day and night or as often as required. Use especially after showering, bathing, shaving and exposure to harsh climatic conditions. For persistent dry skin and mild skin irritations use in conjunction with Alpha Keri Skin Hydrating Body Wash. For external use only. If irritation develops, discontinue use.

Love This Moisturiser
This product has been a “must have” for me for more than 15 years now. I use it all over from face ( morning & night) to feet. Although I have just turned 70 my skin is still soft & smooth & I really can only ascribe this to my daily use of Alpha Keri lotion.

Alpha Keri Moisturising Lotion
I’ve been using Alpha Keri for over 50 years. My mother used it, got me onto it, it was used on my babies, in the oil form, when bathed as newborns, and I’ve now passed it onto my grandchild. A brilliant lotion, which is tried and true.
My only‘complaint’ is when the smell (scent) was changed by the company, about 2/3 years ago. But I will always use this as my preferred body lotion.

To be truthful, It is a different consistency to most body lotions. Sort of feels more thick like sunscreen on the skin. I find I need to put a few layers on to suit my skin type. But the reason I'm sticking with this brand is that (I don't mind having to use a few more pumps of the lotion to achieve relief) I CANT BELIEVE I CAN PUT IT STRAIGHT ON MY FACE AFTER A SHOWER, OR DURING THE DAY/NIGHT. AND I CANT BELIEVE IT DOESNT STING OR BURN MY FACE!!!!!! Makes my face feel normal!!! And NOT tight NOT dry and NOT sore!!!!! Maybe I'm just imagining it, but I feel like it leaves my face with a glowing, dewy complexion! It doesn't sting my cracked skin when I get a flare up either!! Have been using as a hand cream aswell since Covid hit. I will not be without this product again!!!

Smelly!
I just purchased this as it said it was fragrance free online. Beware it isn't! It is even listed on the ingredients that it has fragrance. It is an odd smell, a sort of chemical odour that I couldn't attempt to use as I get migraines from perfume/odours. I will be returning it.
