MULTIPLE PACKS
Dispensing multiple packs or multiple repeats of prescription medication
- As pharmacists we must always comply explicitly with your doctors prescribed directions this includes the quantity of the prescription goods to be supplied. Therefore the only time we can supply an increased quantity of a prescribed medicine is if the doctor prescribes that quantity for you.
AUTHORITY PRESCRIPTION
- Some PBS medications are restricted and require prior approval from Medicare before a doctor is able to prescribe them on the PBS. This prior approval to prescribe grants the doctor the Authority to prescribe the desired medicine and have it funded under the PBS.
Authority to prescribe an Authority medicine is granted for specific indications and/or for certain patient circumstances. Authority may be obtained by telephone to Medicare Australia (known as "phone approval") or in writing from an authorised delegate of the Minister for Health.
Prescriptions must be written on an Authority Prescription Form, and the approval number must be noted on the prescription. Pharmacists cannot dispense the item as a pharmaceutical benefit unless it has been approved by Medicare Australia (indicated by the presence of the approval number).
Some drugs may have Authority Required (Streamlined) status which does not require an explicit approval from Medicare, instead the doctor can use the Authority code found in the published Schedule for a given drug/indication.
But still pharmacists cannot dispense the item as a pharmaceutical benefit unless it has the necessary Authority code.

Sebitar 250mL is a scalp cleansing treatment for itching and inflamed scalp conditions.
Sebitar gently treats scalp conditions rather than just washing away the tell-tale signs. The mild formula relieves itchiness and reduces inflammation, while gentle surfactants help to prevent the hair and scalp becoming excessively dry. Relieves itching scalp and reduces inflammation. Reduces scaling and flaking. For relief of the symptoms of seborrheic dermatitis (scaling and flaking scalp), eczema and psoriasis of the scalp.

Directions
Use twice weekly, or up to once daily, if required. Wet hair Apply to affected area. Massage well. Apply more to remainder of scalp and hair. Work into a lather. Leave for 5 minutes, rinse thoroughly.

It's actually helping!
It doesn't smell amazing but it has definitely helped with itchiness and flaking of scalp.

The best shampoo for baby fine hair!
I bought this because I had an itchy scalp. I then realised my itchy scalp was related to the new medication I'd started taking. BUT this turned out to be the best thing that ever happened to my hair. I have baby fine straight hair that is so easily weighed down by most shampoos even those that claim to be designed specifically for fine hair. I've tried hundreds of shampoos over the years and never been greatly impressed with the effect they had on my hair. Until this one. It leaves my hair so clean and so light and airy that it has more body and bounce than it's ever had. Seriously. I think it's something to do with the watery consistency of the shampoo... maybe? Anyway my scalp is calm and clear and my hair is bouncy so I'm very impressed. The smell takes some getting used to as its not the usual type of sweet fragrance expected from hair products. My hairdresser says it smells faintly like I've been sitting near a camp fire. Could be worse right? The smell has kinda grown on me because its worth the trade off for happier hair and scalp.

EXCELLENT FOR SCALP
I have had very severe itching on my scalp with some tiny pimples. With persistence and daily use over about three months I have finally won the battle and my scalp has now cleared up! I highly recommend this product. I find the smell disappears when I rinse the product out.
